The gameplay is a mix of a beat em up and exploration game as the player will find themselves going to the same zones to find hidden areas that they could not access before. Zones are the types of places player explore along the many zones there will be rest areas if player want to go back to the rider base which is unlocked after player beat the two tutorial stages at the start of the game. There the player will be able to access the rest stops and travel to them whenever player want. Also inside the base, the player can level up their riders with points they collected by beating enemies and returning back to the rider base safely. If they have not returned safely and have failed during a zone then most of these points get taken away. The player must select the 3rd option in the rider base if they want to level up their riders.

The player collect items in zones that helps them out along the way the types of items all have different effects the green pill gives player some health back and cannot be put away for later use same with the bigger pill it just gives player more health. If the player get a circular green capsule then it can be used for later and give them some health back. There is the orange lantern which gives the player the ability to completely refill player finisher meter this can be used for later use which allows player to perform a finish using L and A together. The orange diamond also fills the player's finisher meter however it cannot be picked up for later use and it only fills the meter a little bit. The bigger oval shaped green capsules can be picked up and fills up the player's health greatly. The two battery shaped capsules with the 12 on it lets player heal both of their riders a little, which can be used later. Finally there are the purple teleporter which lets the player escape a zone back to the rider base without going to rest stops this can be used for later use at anytime even during boss fights.

The points the player collect from enemies are also used to get locked riders who can only be unlocked if they have enough points. However when starting out, the player must buy the ones next to the squares that say S1, S2, S3, S4, and S5. After that the player will then be able to unlock the rider next to the rider that was unlocked and can then use points to get that rider this process which then is repeated connecting to another rider. The more he player unlocks, the more available the other ones become. The player must select the 4th option in the base in order to unlock these types of riders. The 2nd option in the rider base is the mission mode which is a selected challenge based on the player's skill level which they can then get rewards from if completed. The 5th option is a place where the player can scan QR codes and get items.
